Music, Art, Fashion, Food and Community equal history in the making for East Nashville.
fEASTival Nashville is an event that occurs once a year in the East Nashville area and combines the community’s most talented entertainment, restaurants and activities for a day of enjoyment and fun.
East Nashville has emerged to become a viable, growing part of the city of Nashville in the past ten years. The landscape, businesses and the people have created a growing community of music, arts and individuals who support and sustain their local community. fEASTival is a concept that will bring together ground-breaking national musicians and artists and combine them with Nashville’s most respected local musicians, artists and restaurants.
We are working hard on fEASTival 2012 and looking forward to what’s in store. We will be making announcements on here so be sure to check back often!
The FEASTIVAL 2012 Lawn Experience will be the primary hub of the festival experience. Attendees can bring their lawn chairs and blankets to lay out in the yard of East Park and take in the full fEASTival experience.
East Park will stand as a host to Food and Art Villages as well as the interactive Kidzone area. At night, the park will transform into a fashion show area. It will be a non stop visual entertainment experience for patrons featuring music, performance art, local art installations and will be free to the public.
The Food Village will be an enticing area filled with local restaurants from East Nashville serving their signature items at a discounted price. This will give the community a chance to sample various food items or enjoy an entire meal without the cost of a sit-down restaurant environment. We are excited to offer exposure to local restaurants and connect them with customers who may not be familiar with their establishment and cuisine!
The Art Village will be the area that showcases local artists and craftsman. We are expecting a minimum of twenty five local artists to participate in this area. This area will also feature art demonstrations as well as how-to areas for patrons to participate in. We are reaching out to local art collectives to curate an art installation that will be the focal point of this exciting area for the festival!
The Kidzone area will be specifically designed with kids and families in mind. This area will feature attractions and activities to keep the kids busy throughout the event. This includes a playground area for children to enjoy themselves as much as the adults.
The Fashion Experience will take place at night. It will feature a fashion runway show that highlights local designers and their artistic abilities. DJ’s will be in place to add some spice to the show and create an interactive, exciting experience.
The After-party will be held at Bar 308 located at 407 Gallatin Ave. Nashville, 37206. There is no cover charge so get in while you can and experience a night of partying, dancing and having original drinks mixed right in front of you! For more information, visit www.bar308.com.

Thanks Dan at QPONDAY

Hi Bryan! That is great! We really appreciate it! Please find us at the festival on Saturday…. we’d love to talk to you about this further. We will most likely be found at the fEASTival headquarters booth and if we’re not, the person there will know how to find us.
Several of our writers will be there, as will I, and I look for you all at the fEASTival headquarters booth. We’ll also try to get one more promotion article out today.
I volunteer for a non-profit. Will any of the proceeds be benefiting non-profits and is it possible that we could have a booth there?
I co-own Pastry Babies, an East Nashville miniature organic pastry business. We’d love to host a booth and show off our products. Please contact us with information.
I own an East Nashville small business that makes hand-crafted, organic herbal teas, High Garden Herbs. Wondering if this would work as a booth? We have our teas in shops and restaurants in East Nashville. highgardenherbs@gmail.com
